"Capital Auditor" for the "Capital of Health"

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs was recently appointed as the external auditor for The Medical City (TMC).

TMC is a massive new hospital, currently the largest in the Philippines. It houses 500 patients in two towers, complete with rooftop helipad and provision for an additional 288 beds. Along with designated floors for medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics, it also includes a six-storey podium for special services and diagnostic facilities, an 18-storey medical arts tower housing 280 doctors’ clinics and three levels of parking for 1,000 vehicles. TMC has also been conferred accreditation by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) for obtaining and maintaining the highest international standards of quality for healthcare organizations.

Ricardo G. Manabat (Partner, Audit Services)
Ric is the lead engagement partner for TMC. He has extensive experience in both IFRS and US GAAP issues and is involved in the audit of a number of major international groups. Armed with his 37 years of audit experience with KPMG Philippines and other big four accounting firms, Ric is sure to provide top quality service to TMC.

Arsenio F. Mata (Director, Audit Services)
The engagement director for TMC is Armat Mata. He’s been in the audit industry for 33 years and has handled clients from the healthcare industry for a quite a number of times before.
