Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs hosts KPMG's AsPac regional Advisory Skills Training


Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs was honored to host the KPMG's AsPac regional Advisory Skills “Train the Trainer Training” on June 9-13 at the Mandarin Hotel. This program aims to develop the skills of KPMG professionals to support the successful deployment of Advisory programs in their respective countries.

The training was successfully attended by 35 Managers and Directors from different KPMG offices worldwide including the Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, Vietnam, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, United Kingdom, and South Africa.

Mr. Reginald C. Nery, Partner for Risk Advisory Services, welcomed the delegates with an introduction about KPMG Philippines’ practice. A welcome dinner was held the night of the first training day at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. A cultural show was presented during the welcome dinner for the foreign attendees to get a glimpse of Philippine culture.

The training was divided into two different trainings – A1 and A2. A1 attendees were trained to train new hires and experienced staff below Assistant Manager Level while A2 attendees were trained to train new managers. The attendees from Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs, Anna Marie Pabellon, Director for RAS, was part of the A2 Training while Clarissa Bassig and Alvin Cadalin, Assistant Managers for RAS, attended the A1 Training.

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs' RAS Partners and Staff made sure that the foreign delegates learn not only technical advisory skills but also about Philippine leisure and activities such as karaoke, billiards and eating the famous Philippine delicacy, balut.
