SEIPI works with KPMG Philippines for PSECE 2008

Atty. Jeremy I. Gatdula, KPMG Manabat Sanagustin & Co.’s Tax Principal for Trade and Customs, and Raphael Edward B. Madarang, Manager from the Tax & Corporate Services recently gave a short talk on the impact of WTO, ASEAN Free Trade Agreements (FTA’s) and the Revised Kyoto Convention for the semiconductor industry in the just concluded Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition (PSECE) 2008 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. It was organized by SEIPI, t he Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines, Inc. which is the leading and largest organization of foreign and Filipino semiconductor and electronics companies in the Philippines.
The symposium was attended by industry executives, managers, and supervisors engaged in specific functional areas such as manufacturing and engineering; finance; human resources; purchasing; logistics; health, safety and facilities; and industry suppliers engaged in the provision of indirect materials, equipment/machinery and various services. Mainly the group composed of SEIPI industry professionals from ASEFEX (Association of SEIPI Finance Executives), ASPA (Association of SEIPI Personnel Administrators) and ASPM (Association of SEIPI Purchasing Managers).
