Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs, one of the fastest growing practices in     KPMG's AsPac region

 

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs, a Philippine partnership and a member firm of the KPMG network of independent member firms affiliated with KPMG International, a Swiss cooperative, was cited as one of the fastest growing practices in the Asia Pacific region for the 3rd quarter of FY 2008 by KPMG Asia Pacific. The KPMG Asia Pacific leadership acclaimed the Philippine firm’s growth rate of 52.4% in local currency and 72.8% in dollar currency. It also pointed out that our Business Financial Advisory Services (BFAS) had the most phenomenal growth rate among BFAS practices in the region with a growth rate of 314% in local currency and 370% in dollar terms.

 

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs hosts KPMG's AsPac regional Advisory Skills Training

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs was honored to host the KPMG's AsPac regional Advisory Skills “Train the Trainer Training” on June 9-13 at the Mandarin Hotel. This program aims to develop the skills of KPMG professionals to support the successful deployment of Advisory programs in their respective countries. The training was successfully attended by 35 Managers and Directors from different KPMG offices worldwide including the Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, Vietnam, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, United Kingdom, and South Africa.

To reach out to the Chinese and Filipino-Chinese business community in the Philippines as one of the important business partners of Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs conducted a seminar on the Update on Latest BIR Issuances for the members of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) on August 5, 2008 in Binondo, Manila.

 

"Capital Auditor" for the "Capital Health"

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs was recently appointed as the external auditor for The Medical City (TMC). TMC is a massive new hospital, currently the largest in the Philippines. It houses 500 patients in two towers, complete with rooftop helipad and provision for an additional 288 beds. Along with designated floors for medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics, it also includes a six-storey podium for special services and diagnostic facilities, an 18-storey medical arts tower housing 280 doctors’ clinics and three levels of parking for 1,000 vehicles.

 

Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs congratulates 2007 CIA, CFSA Passers!

Marco Fernando L. Ng of Audit Services is a recipient of the Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) Exams 2007 William S. Smith Award – Certificate of Honor. This award is presented to the 50 candidates worldwide who have the next highest scores following the Bronze Medal Award. Marco joins auditors from Brazil, China, Canada, Germany, New Zealand and USA in receiving this award. Marco will be honored for his accomplishment during the 61st Annual Convention of the Internal Auditors Philippines on October 23-25, 2008 at the Legend Hotel, Subic, Zambales. In recognition of Marco’s feat, his attendance to the convention will be sponsored by the Firm. Chief Operating Officer Emmanuel P. Bonoan presented Marco with the Php10,000 check for his registration.
